Tangail, July 5 (V7N) — A special leadership meeting was organized by the Tangail district branch of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami in observance of Ulama and Professionals Week. The event took place on Saturday, July 5, at the district Jamaat office in Sabalia, under the chairmanship of district Ameer Ahsan Habib Masud and was moderated by District Secretary Maulana Humayun Kabir.

The event featured Principal Maulana Zainul Abedin, Central President of the Bangladesh Mosque Mission and senior member of the Central Ulama Committee, as the chief guest. Dr. Maulana Khalilur Rahman Madani, Secretary General of both the Central Ulama Committee and the Mosque Mission, delivered the keynote speech.

Other notable attendees included Professor Shafiqul Islam Khan, Assistant Secretary of the District Jamaat; Md. Shahidul Islam, Organizational Secretary; Maulana Abdus Salam, District Ulama Secretary; Principal Obaidur Rahman Quraishi, Welfare Secretary; and Professor Iqbal Hossain Badal, Ameer of Sadar Upazila Jamaat.

The speakers emphasized the importance of religious scholarship, professional engagement, and organizational discipline in shaping a just and morally responsible society.
