Cox’s Bazar, July 18 (V7N) – As part of its ongoing “July March to Build the Nation” campaign, the National Citizen Party (NCP) is set to begin a five-district regional march from the coastal city of Cox’s Bazar tomorrow, July 19. This mobilization effort is aimed at strengthening public engagement and expanding party presence in the Chattogram division.
 
Leaders from the NCP’s central committee are expected to arrive in Cox’s Bazar tonight to lead the march. SM Suja Uddin, Joint Member Secretary of the party’s central committee and the regional coordinator for this segment of the campaign, confirmed that all necessary preparations have been finalized.
 
The central delegation includes Convener Nahid Islam, Chief Organiser (South) Hasnat Abdullah, Chief Organiser (North) Sarjis Alam, and central committee member Tasnim Zara, along with other senior party leaders. According to Suja Uddin, they will be welcomed by local organizers and party supporters upon their arrival.
 
The march will commence at approximately 10:00 a.m. tomorrow from the central bus terminal in Cox’s Bazar. The participants will proceed along the city’s main thoroughfare and conclude at Shaheed Daulat Ground near the Public Library, where a mass rally is scheduled to take place. The rally is expected to feature speeches from central and regional NCP leaders outlining the party’s policy vision and call for nationwide reform.
 
Suja Uddin stated that mobilization efforts have drawn attention from unions and upazilas across the district. Large numbers of supporters are anticipated to join the march at the starting point.
 
This event marks the first phase of the NCP’s regional outreach in southeastern Bangladesh, with additional rallies and marches planned in the coming weeks as part of the broader July campaign.
