Khagrachhari, July 28 (V7N) – A free medical camp and blood donation program were organized in Khagrachhari to mark the observance of the July Uprising 2025. The event was held on Monday morning at the Khagrachhari Officers’ Club under the initiative of the Health Department.

The program was inaugurated by Khagrachhari District Council Chairperson Shefalika Tripura. Also present at the inauguration was Khagrachhari Deputy Commissioner A B M Iftekharul Islam Khondkar, who said, “Through this medical camp, we have ensured medical care for those injured during the July mass uprising. Additionally, underprivileged and vulnerable members of the community are receiving necessary treatment here. We sincerely appreciate this commendable initiative by the Health Department.”

The camp was attended by Khagrachhari District Council Member Chairperson Shefalika Tripura, Health Department Coordinator and District Council Member Md. Shahidul Islam Sumon, Khagrachhari BNP General Secretary M N Absar, senior specialist doctors from the district, and July uprising veterans.

The camp provided various medical services including general diagnosis, prescription distribution, blood pressure, diabetes, and eye examinations. The blood donation drive saw spontaneous participation from people across different professions.

The Health Department stated that such humanitarian and healthcare initiatives will continue in the future.
