Dhaka, Feb 12, (V7N) – A delegation of Turkish election observers met BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman at his Gulshan office Wednesday night, ahead of Bangladesh’s national election and referendum scheduled for Thursday.

BNP Media Cell member Sayrul Kabir Khan said the delegation, visiting to monitor the 13th Jatiya Sangsad polls, held a courtesy meeting with Rahman. The observers are due to oversee polling across the country on election day.

BNP Joint Secretary General Humayun Kabir and Chairman’s Adviser Enamul Haq Chowdhury were present alongside Rahman during the meeting.
