Cairo, Mar 07 (V7N) – The Arab League will hold an emergency meeting on Sunday, March 8, to discuss Iranian attacks on Arab countries in the Middle East, the organization’s assistant secretary-general announced.
Hossam Zaki, assistant secretary-general of the Arab League, told AFP that the meeting will be conducted via video conference.
The emergency session was requested by Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Jordan, and Egypt, according to the official.
The meeting comes amid escalating tensions in the region following a series of missile attacks and military operations attributed to Iran, which have raised concerns about regional security and stability.
