Dhaka, July 15 (V7N) – Financial Advisor Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed announced that the government has approved legal assistance to review all domestic and foreign contracts related to power plants signed during the tenure of the ousted Awami League government.
The decision came from a meeting of the Advisory Council Committee on Economic Affairs and Government Procurement and the Food Planning and Management Committee (FPMC) held Tuesday afternoon at the Secretariat.
Dr. Salehuddin also stated that the country's food grain reserves, including paddy, rice, and wheat, remain satisfactory, and discussions were held on future food procurement.

4 Lakh Tons of Rice to Be Imported:
Food Advisor Ali Imam Majumder confirmed that 400,000 tons of rice will be imported to prepare for the possibility of major flooding in the coming months. -
Rice Subsidy for 5.5 Million Families:
The government will provide 30 kg of rice per month at 15 taka per kg to 5.5 million low-income families for six months:-
