FEB 12 (V7N) - According to unofficial results announced by polling agents, Hafizuddin Ahmed has received 151,774 votes in his constituency.

His nearest rival, Muhammad Nizamul Haque Naeem of the 11-party alliance, supported by Jamaat-e-Islami and contesting with the Cauliflower symbol, has secured 55,660 votes.

The margin indicates a decisive lead for Ahmed, though the Election Commission has yet to release official results.
