PABNA, March 2, (V7N) - Member of Parliament for Pabna-03 constituency, Maulana Ali Asgar, inaugurated a cleanliness campaign at the Faridpur Upazila Health Complex on Monday afternoon by symbolically sweeping the hospital premises. The initiative, organized with local Jamaat leaders and community representatives, aims to improve healthcare quality and ensure a patient-friendly environment.
During his inspection of the health complex, Ali Asgar emphasized that cleanliness is not only about aesthetics but also a prerequisite for disease prevention and quality treatment. “Such activities must be continued regularly to make the health complex safer and more effective for the people,” he said.
Faridpur Upazila Jamaat Ameer Maulana Abu Talib, former Ameer Sapinur Islam, Upazila Jamaat Secretary Md. Abdul Hai Al-Razi, and leaders of local workers’ welfare federations were present as special guests. Speakers called for collective efforts and regular monitoring to maintain hygiene standards at the hospital.
Officials noted that ongoing development activities at the health complex are intended to make healthcare services more dynamic and people-friendly. They expressed hope that the cleanliness drive will help patients and their families receive medical services in a healthier environment.
