Dhaka, Nov 15 (V7N) — Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources Advisor Faozul Kabir Khan has emphasized that Bangladesh needs an innovation and production-oriented economic system, similar to developed countries. The advisor stressed that to succeed in today’s job market, students must possess not only academic certificates but also practical knowledge and skills across various fields.
He also highlighted the importance of professionalism in politics, saying, “Politics, like other professions, should be approached with honesty and integrity, not bribery and extortion.”
Professor Mohammad Farashuddin, former governor of Bangladesh Bank and chairperson of East West University’s Board of Trustees, added that sustainable development requires proper financing and training for small industries. The event focused on bridging the gap between education and employability, encouraging students to acquire skills essential for a competitive workforce.
