Dhaka, Aug 27 (V7N) – Dr. Mokhles Ur Rahman, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, has urged BUET students to refrain from blocking roads during their protests, saying their demands can be resolved through proper procedures.
Speaking to reporters at the Secretariat on Wednesday, the senior secretary said,
“Blocking roads and causing public suffering is not right or prudent. If the issue is presented through the relevant department, it can be easily resolved. The government has not yet received any formal proposal regarding their demands. Once received, it will be considered properly.”
He added that apart from the Ministry of Public Administration, the Law Ministry and the Public Service Commission (PSC) are also involved in addressing the demands. “This matter will be resolved through discussions among all relevant authorities,” Dr. Rahman said.
