Rangpur, Aug 23 (V7N) – Health Advisor emphasized that meaningful change in the country depends on individual and organizational transformation. “If there is no change in you and me, how will the country change?” he questioned, recalling the July Revolution, which cost many lives and limbs, and criticizing persistent syndicates for their inaction.

He made the remarks while visiting various wards of Rangpur Medical College Hospital and meeting with hospital authorities at 11:30 am on Saturday. Hospital Director Brigadier General Ashiqur Rahman, DC Mohammad Rabiul Faisal, and other officials accompanied him.

Responding to questions about a planned Chinese hospital, the advisor said he would inspect the site personally before final decisions on construction. Regarding the unopened Rangpur Mother and Child Hospital, he explained that successful operation requires careful planning, manpower, and equipment. “Just giving me a horse will not make a carriage. A hospital is like that,” he said, adding that the facilities will be introduced gradually.

He also announced that the budget for a 560-bed hospital in Rangpur for heart, kidney, and cancer patients has been approved. Even if the project cannot start immediately, he assured that the next government would implement it.
