Dhaka, Aug 21 (V7N) – Pakistan’s Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan has arrived in Dhaka on a four-day official visit aimed at boosting bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
The minister’s flight landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 11:30 pm on Wednesday (August 20). He was received by the Interim Government’s Commerce Advisor Sheikh Bashir Uddin, while Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Bangladesh Imran Haider was also present.
During his visit from August 21 to 24, Jam Kamal Khan is scheduled to hold high-level meetings with senior government officials and leading business representatives in Bangladesh. The discussions will focus on expanding trade, investment opportunities, and addressing existing barriers to economic partnership.
Diplomatic observers note that the visit is expected to strengthen economic ties and may pave the way for new avenues of cooperation between Pakistan and Bangladesh.
