Tehran, June 20 (V7N) – Since the night of Thursday, June 12, Israeli warplanes have repeatedly bombed various locations over the skies of Tehran. The aircraft have been seen flying in multiple directions above the capital city, with anti-aircraft fire actively targeting them. Amid this escalating situation, many residents have evacuated Tehran. However, those who remain are living under intense fear and uncertainty, as revealed in a recent report by BBC journalist Kasra Nazir.

Kasra Nazir shared an emotional account from a WhatsApp call with his sister living in Tehran. Despite the call frequently becoming unclear, the fear in her voice was unmistakable. His sister explained that the Israeli military has ordered residents within a few kilometers of her neighborhood to evacuate. Nevertheless, she has chosen to stay.

She expressed her belief that, to the best of her knowledge, there are no military installations close to their home. Yet, she remains worried because there is a commercial building in the area owned by the Revolutionary Guards, which could potentially be a target.

This ongoing conflict has placed Tehran’s civilians in a precarious situation, balancing the risks of staying put against the chaos of evacuation. As international attention focuses on the region, the human impact of these military actions continues to unfold.
