Gaza, July 4 (V7N) — Even as ceasefire negotiations continue, Israeli forces have killed at least 101 more Palestinians in a series of attacks across Gaza on Thursday (July 3), according to a report by Al Jazeera.

Among the dead were 51 people shot while waiting for food at relief centers — a tragic incident highlighting the worsening humanitarian crisis in the besieged enclave.

Israeli strikes also targeted the Deir al-Balah area in central Gaza, killing at least five people and injuring many others. Refugees in the Nur Shams camp came under fire as well, adding to the day’s casualties.

The Palestinian Football Association confirmed the death of footballer Muhannad al-Lili, who played for Khadamat al-Maghazi club, in one of the attacks.

According to reports, nearly 100,000 Palestinians have died in Israeli assaults on Gaza over the past 21 months—about 4% of the enclave’s total population. This figure is significantly higher than the death toll officially reported by the Health Ministry in Hamas-administered Gaza.

Despite international calls for restraint and an end to hostilities, Israel’s military operations have continued unabated, deepening the suffering of the civilian population as hopes for a ceasefire remain uncertain.
