Washington, June 22 (V7N) – US President Donald Trump has ordered a military operation against Iran, ahead of the previously announced two-week deadline for a decision on US involvement in the Iran-Israel conflict.

The attack targeted Iran’s key nuclear facilities at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. Trump confirmed that US aircraft carried out the strikes and have since exited Iranian airspace. Claiming the operation was “successful,” he congratulated the US military for the mission, stating, “The time for peace has come.” In a separate post, he also claimed that Iran’s Fordow nuclear facility was “destroyed.”

The Palestinian armed group Hamas strongly condemned the US action, calling it a “brazen aggression” and a violation of international law. In a statement issued shortly after the strikes, Hamas said the attack posed “a direct threat to international peace and stability.”

Just last week, the White House said that a decision on US involvement would be made within two weeks. However, within only three days, Trump took the decision to strike Iran, escalating regional tensions further.

The international community is closely monitoring the situation amid fears of further escalation in the already volatile Middle East.
