Dhaka, Mar 04 (V7N) — The Election Commission (EC) Bangladesh has released detailed results for 297 out of the 300 parliamentary constituencies from the recently held 13th National Parliament election. Voters and candidates can now check the results of each constituency individually through the EC’s official website.

The results were officially published on Wednesday (March 4) following voting in 299 constituencies across 42,651 polling centers on February 12.

Constituencies with Pending Results

  • Chittagong-2 and Chittagong-4: Results have been suspended due to ongoing legal complications. The Commission will announce further decisions once the court cases are resolved.

  • Sherpur-3: Election postponed due to the death of a candidate. Voting is now scheduled for April 9.

  • Bogra-6: A by-election will also be held on April 9 after the previous winner, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, vacated the seat.

The EC emphasized that voters and candidates can access detailed constituency-wise data online, ensuring transparency and accessibility of electoral information. This release marks a significant step in finalizing the results of the 13th parliamentary elections while addressing legal and procedural matters in pending constituencies.
