LAHORE, March 30 (V7N) – Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman once again showcased his death-over bowling skills in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), but fellow countryman Parvez Hossain Emon continued to struggle with the bat as Lahore Qalandars fell short against Karachi Kings.
In the low-scoring contest at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, the Qalandars were restricted to 128-9. Emon managed only 12 runs before Karachi Kings chased down the target with three balls to spare, finishing at 131-6 to secure their second consecutive victory.
Lahore captain Shaheen Shah Afridi delivered a brilliant spell, claiming four wickets for just 18 runs. Mustafizur complemented him with a tight performance at the death, conceding only 20 runs in his four overs and picking up one wicket.
Despite the strong bowling effort, Lahore’s batting collapse proved costly, leaving them unable to defend their total.
