Dhaka, Sep 10 (V7N) – The return of the Bangladesh national football team from Nepal has been temporarily delayed due to ongoing protests in the country.

The team was scheduled to depart from Tribhuvan International Airport at 3 pm local time today. However, escalating unrest in Kathmandu forced airport authorities to cancel all flights. As a result, the players and officials are currently staying at their team hotel, according to BSS.

Senior officials from the Office of the Chief Advisor and the Ministry of Youth and Sports are coordinating closely with the Bangladesh Embassy in Nepal to ensure the team’s safe and swift return.
