Khagrachari, July 4 (V7N) — A community dialogue was held in Khagrachari focusing on the confirmation of Hindu community representation in the Regional Council and Khagrachari Hill District Council, along with various pressing issues concerning the Sanatani Hindu population in the region.

The event was organized by the leaders of the Sanatani Math Mandir in Khagrachari Sadar and took place at the central office of the Khagrachari Sanatan Samaj Kalyan Parishad.

Presided over by Sudhir Dutta, Chief Advisor of the central committee of the Sanatan Samaj Kalyan Parishad, the discussion was attended by key figures including Engr. Nirmal Das, Convenor of the Parishad; Ashok Majumder, Member Secretary and President of Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Parishad; Ashish Bhattacharya, Vice President of Lakshmi Narayan Mandir; Nirmal Dev, General Secretary of the same temple; and Dr. Manoranjan Dev, among others.

Leaders from various local and national Hindu organizations also participated in the meeting, including representatives from the Khagrachari Sadar Upazila Committee of the Sanatan Samaj Kalyan Parishad, BagiShik (Bangladesh Gita Shiksha Committee), Bangladesh Sammilita Sanatani Jagaran Jote, and Jago Hindu Parishad.

Participants discussed the importance of fair representation of the Sanatani Hindu community in local governance structures and called for greater unity and cooperation among Hindu organizations to address shared challenges.
