Tokyo, Sep 12 (V7N) – A delegation of the National Citizens Party (NCP) has arrived in Japan to strengthen ties with the Bangladeshi expatriate community and NCP supporters.
The delegation landed at Narita International Airport in Tokyo at 6:30 am local time on Friday (Sept 12), where they were welcomed with flowers by expatriates.
The team departed Dhaka’s Shahjalal International Airport on Thursday (Sept 11) afternoon at 1:30 pm. The delegation is led by NCP northern region chief organizer Sarjis Alam, along with chief coordinator Nasiruddin Patwari and joint chief coordinator Mahbub Alam.
During the visit, the NCP leaders are scheduled to attend various programs with expatriates and supporters in Tokyo and Osaka, as well as meet the Bangladesh Ambassador to Japan to discuss the problems and opportunities facing expatriates.
This visit follows a series of recent international trips by the party. On August 22, a top-level NCP delegation visited Malaysia on a three-day mission, followed by a four-day visit to China on August 26, both led by party convener Nahid Islam. However, he is not part of the Japan delegation this time.
