Dhaka, July 20, (V7N) – BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir launched a scathing attack on former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, calling her "a disgrace to humanity" and asserting that she "cannot be forgiven" for her actions. He made these remarks while speaking at a tree plantation program organized at Zia Udyan in the capital on Sunday morning.

Mirza Fakhrul stated that the recent student-led uprising and the people's sacrifice were aimed at establishing a truly independent and democratic Bangladesh. “BNP’s vision is to build a liberal and democratic nation — free from corruption, bribery, murder, and oppression — where people can live with dignity and freedom,” he said.

Commenting on the upcoming election, Fakhrul emphasized that the interim government will hold the promised national polls. He reiterated BNP’s commitment to forming a "Rainbow Nation" by including all democratic forces, regardless of differing political views.
