Dhaka, July 21, (V7N) – The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) has published the results of the 48th Special BCS examination. The results were made available on the official PSC website on Sunday night.

A total of 5,206 candidates have been recommended for appointment. Among them, 4,695 have been selected for the post of Assistant Surgeon and 511 for the post of Assistant Dental Surgeon.

The written (MCQ-type) exam for this special BCS was held on Friday, July 18, with 41,025 candidates participating in the test.

According to the PSC, the government plans to recruit 3,000 doctors through this BCS—2,700 Assistant Surgeons and 300 Assistant Dental Surgeons.
