Singapore, Sep 19 (V7N) – Renowned Indian singer Zubin Garg has died at the age of 52 following a serious scuba diving accident in Singapore, Indian media reported.

Zubin was rushed to a nearby hospital after sustaining injuries while diving with an oxygen tank. Despite medical efforts, he could not be saved and passed away during treatment. His wife, Garima Garg, is traveling to Singapore after learning of his death.

Zubin Garg was widely known for his contributions to Bollywood and Tollywood music. His hit song “Ya Ali” from the Bollywood film Gangster, starring Emraan Hashmi, became a nationwide sensation.

He had traveled to Singapore to participate in the North East Festival, which highlights the culture, traditions, and lifestyle of India’s North East region through music, dance, handicrafts, and cuisine. The tragic incident occurred during the festival.
