Supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Bangladesh, the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), and Thailand’s Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), the expo has attracted significant attention from both industry professionals and consumers. Square Toiletries Ltd. is serving as the title sponsor, with Cute as the gold sponsor and Ingenious Resources as the platinum sponsor.

Visitors to the show can explore over 100 product displays, attend live demonstrations, receive beauty consultations, and interact with skincare experts and business stakeholders. Organizers aim to create new avenues for investment, technology transfer, and collaboration within the country’s personal care industry.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ambassador Park Youngsik highlighted Korea’s strong position in the global beauty market, noting, “In 2024, Korea exported $10 billion worth of cosmetics. Bangladesh is a key emerging market with immense potential. This expo provides an opportunity to better understand the local landscape and explore new partnerships.”

SM Faisal Munim, CEO of Squadmind Global Ltd., the event organizer, stated, “For the first time in Bangladesh, we are gathering all relevant players in the personal care and hygiene sector under one roof. This exhibition will not only showcase the proper use of quality products but also encourage investment, entrepreneurship, and job creation. We hope it will attract further foreign interest in this growing sector.”

The event also aims to promote awareness of quality standards, ethical consumer practices, and the dangers of counterfeit and black-market products. Panel discussions throughout the expo will address the opportunities and challenges facing the sector, including regulatory frameworks, product innovation, and sustainability.
