Pabna, Dec 16 (V7N) – A “Clean Campus” program was conducted at the Pabna University of Science and Technology (PUST) campus on Monday, led by Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam. The initiative saw active participation from teachers, students, administrative staff, Rover Scouts, and members of various campus organizations.

The program began at 11:00 am in front of the administration building, where Professor Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam highlighted the significance of cleanliness for a healthy life. He announced that henceforth, the university would observe a Clean Campus day once every month and called upon all members of the university community to take personal responsibility for keeping their campus and workplaces clean.

Following the opening remarks, participants were divided into groups to clean the entire campus. Among those actively involved were Chairman of the Business Administration Department Professor Dr. Md. Kamruzzaman, Proctor Professor Dr. Kamruzzaman Khan, Hall Provost Dr. Md. Shahjahan Ali, Dr. Jinnat Rehana, Layla Arzumand Banu, senior teacher Ekramul Haque, and a large number of faculty and students. Rover Scouts and members of the Green Voice organization also participated.

The cleaning activities continued for nearly three hours, resulting in a thoroughly cleaned and organized campus. The program not only enhanced the physical environment but also aimed to instill a sense of civic responsibility and environmental awareness among the university community.
