Dhaka, Aug 17 (V7N) – The University of Dhaka hosted a vibrant Korean Cultural Day event on Sunday morning, organized jointly by the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), the Institute of Modern Languages (IML), and the Department of Organization Strategy and Leadership (OSL) under the Business Studies faculty. The event aimed to foster greater understanding of Korean language, culture, and heritage among the students and academic community.

Held at the Business Studies Department premises, the event drew enthusiastic participation from hundreds of students eager to engage with Korea’s rich cultural traditions. Speakers highlighted the importance of Korea-Bangladesh cultural ties and the role of language learning in building stronger bilateral relations. Representatives from KOICA stressed their ongoing commitment to educational and cultural exchange programs that promote mutual understanding and cooperation between the two countries.
Students expressed keen interest in Korean culture, with many participating in interactive sessions designed to teach basic Korean phrases and introduce aspects of daily life in Korea.
