Dhaka, July 28 (V7N) – The admission circular for undergraduate (honors) programs of the proposed Dhaka Central University, comprising seven government colleges in the capital, has been officially published. Notably, second-time admission seekers are eligible to apply this year.

According to the admission notification published Monday night, online applications will open at 12:00 PM on August 3 and continue until 11:59 PM on August 10. Interested students can apply by visiting the designated admission website. The application fee is set at Tk 800, which can be paid through any branch of Sonali, Janata, Agrani, or Rupali Bank, or via debit/credit cards and mobile financial services.

Eligibility Criteria

Only students who:

  • Passed SSC or equivalent between 2019 and 2022, and

  • Passed HSC or equivalent in 2023 or 2024,
    and who meet the individual unit requirements, are eligible to apply for the 2024–2025 academic year.

Students who have already applied to the seven colleges affiliated with Dhaka University for this session do not need to reapply. Their applications will automatically be considered for Dhaka Central University. However, those who withdrew their application will be refunded.

Units and Admission Test Schedule

Applicants can choose from three units:

  • Arts and Social Sciences

  • Science

  • Business Education

Admission Test Dates:

  • Arts and Social Sciences – Friday, August 22, 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM

  • Science – Saturday, August 23, 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM

  • Business Education – Saturday, August 23, 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM
