Dhaka, July 22, (V7N) – The entire country is observing a state mourning today following the deadly crash of a Bangladesh Air Force training aircraft at Milestone School and College in Uttara, Dhaka, which claimed the lives of 27 people—most of them students.

In light of the national tragedy, all examinations under the National University scheduled for Tuesday have been postponed. The university issued an emergency notification informing students that a revised schedule will be published later.

Additionally, the HSC and equivalent examinations scheduled for today (Tuesday, July 22) have also been suspended.

According to the routine, the following examinations were scheduled to be held today:

  • Chemistry (Theoretical) Second Paper

  • Islamic History and Culture Second Paper (Humanities Branch)

  • History Second Paper

  • Home Management and Family Life Second Paper

  • Production Management and Marketing Second Paper

Education boards across the country are expected to announce updated exam dates in the coming days.

The government has declared today a national day of mourning, with flags at half-mast and special prayers being held across religious institutions for the victims and the injured.
