Comilla, July 21 (V7N) – The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations that were postponed due to sudden natural disasters earlier this month have now been rescheduled to take place on August 12, according to an official announcement from the Bangladesh Education Board.

Runa Nasrin, Controller of Examinations for the Comilla Education Board, confirmed the new date on Sunday. The decision follows an unexpected deterioration in weather and flood conditions across several districts under the Comilla Board, including Feni and Noakhali.

On July 9, rising floodwaters prompted the board to postpone the scheduled exams for July 10 to ensure student safety. The postponed subjects included Physics (Paper I), Accounting (Paper I), and Logic (Paper I).

Runa Nasrin told local media that due to the worsening flood situation and associated natural disruptions, the board had no choice but to defer the exams originally set for July 10. These exams will now be held on Monday, August 12, at 10:00 AM across the affected districts.

The Comilla Education Board has advised students and institutions to prepare accordingly and monitor the official website and local announcements for any further updates.
