Dhaka, Sep 23 (V7N) – The testimony of the investigation officer in the case filed against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and three others for crimes against humanity during the July coup is set to be recorded today at the International Crimes Tribunal-1 (ICT-1).
The proceedings will take place on Tuesday (Sept 23) before the tribunal headed by Justice Golam Mortuza Majumder, where Tribunal Prosecutor Tanvir Hasan Joha will present his statement.
On Monday, the testimony of Sabrina Afroz Sebanti, sister of Shaheed Saikat, concluded the eyewitness accounts related to incidents in Mohammadpur.
Meanwhile, in other war crimes and crimes against humanity cases:

Nine accused, including former IGP Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun and Dhaka North Mayor Atiqul Islam, were produced before the tribunal in connection with the Uttara massacre case.

Former MP Abdur Rahman Badi was presented in the tribunal in the case over the killing of Ekramul Haque in a Cox’s Bazar crossfire.

Additional Superintendent of Police Sadek Kausar Dastagir was produced in the Sylhet case.

Khairuzzaman Liton and three others appeared before the tribunal in the Rajshahi genocide case.
In parallel, at Tribunal-2, testimony in the Ashulia murder and arson case will continue for the fourth consecutive day today.
