Dhaka, Sep 21 (V7N) – The fourth day of testimony hearings is underway in three separate RAJUK plot corruption cases against Sheikh Rehana and her children—British MP Tulip Siddique, Radwan Mujib Siddique, and Azmina Siddique. Former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who was earlier dropped as an accused in the case, is also named among the accused.

The hearing began on Sunday morning at the Dhaka Special Judge’s Court-4, presided over by Judge Md. Rabiul Alam.

On Sunday, witnesses scheduled to testify include Eastern Housing Limited Executive General Manager Mohammad Farhaduzzaman, operator Sheikh Shamsher Ali, Assistant Executive Member Himel Chandra Das, and Ministry of Housing and Public Works Administrative Officer Akhter Jahan.

Earlier, five officials from the National Board of Revenue (NBR), the Ministry of Public Works, and the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) provided testimony in the same court.

On July 31, the court framed charges against the accused and ordered the trial to proceed. Arrest warrants were issued against them after they failed to appear before the court during the charge-framing hearing.

The Anti-Corruption Commission initially filed three separate cases against 23 individuals, including Sheikh Hasina, her sister Sheikh Rehana, and her daughters Tulip Rizwana Siddique and Azmina Siddique Ruponti, over alleged irregularities in RAJUK plot allocations.
