Dhaka, Aug 24 (V7N) – The International Crimes Tribunal-1 today entered its seventh day of testimony in the case against ousted former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, and three others accused of committing crimes against humanity during the events of July–August.
The tribunal, headed by Justice Md. Golam Mortuza Majumder, began proceedings on Sunday morning (August 24).
Among those produced before the court today were:

Former IGP Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun, an accused who has turned state witness,
-
Former army officer Ziaul Ahsan, linked to a disappearance case, and
-
Former Public Administration Minister Farhad Hossain, brought in connection with another case.
So far, 16 witnesses have given testimony in the case. On Wednesday, four witnesses – including two doctors and a nurse – described their experiences at the hospital during the July–August incidents. They stated that they had faced obstacles while attempting to provide medical treatment and emphasized the need for justice against Sheikh Hasina, Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, Awami League leader Obaidul Quader, and members of the police force.
The tribunal proceedings are expected to continue with more witnesses being summoned in the coming days as the case develops.
