Dhaka, Aug 12 (V7N) — Members of a joint force, led by the army, conducted a raid on Geneva Camp in Mohammadpur on Monday night, following a fatal clash earlier in the day.
The operation began shortly after 8:00 pm and continued until 10:00 pm. Fourteen people were arrested, including alleged drug dealer Nasim. Security personnel searched individuals deemed suspicious, recovering 8 knives, 4 bottles of liquor, 68 helmets, and an unspecified quantity of drugs.
The raid came hours after a violent confrontation between two groups over drug dealing left one man, identified as Shah Alam, dead.
