Jeddah, Nov 12 (V7N) — Saudi Arabia has declared this year’s Hajj as the most successful pilgrimage in the past five decades. The country’s Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, announced that the 2025 Hajj season achieved a record 91 percent pilgrim satisfaction rate, marking a historic milestone in the Kingdom’s Hajj management system.

Speaking at the Fifth Hajj and Umrah Conference and Exhibition held in Jeddah, Dr. Al-Rabiah said the achievement reflects the success of the “Pilgrim Experience Program” under Saudi Vision 2030. Delegates from over 150 countries participated in the event, which focused on innovation, coordination, and service excellence in Hajj operations.

Prince Saud emphasized that Saudi Arabia continues to uphold the vision of its founder, King Abdulaziz, in serving pilgrims with dedication and efficiency. He attributed the success of this year’s pilgrimage to the coordinated efforts of various government agencies, which ensured smooth management despite the massive scale of operations.

Dr. Al-Rabiah highlighted that the satisfaction rate among pilgrims rose sharply from 74 percent in 2022 to 91 percent in 2025, reflecting major improvements in logistics, digital services, and hospitality. He added that preparations for the next Hajj season are already underway—60 percent of pilgrim agreements have been completed, and 70 percent of accommodation facilities are ready.

The Minister also noted the rapid adoption of the “Nusuk” application, designed to enhance the pilgrim experience through digital innovation. The app now has over 40 million users, with new artificial intelligence features introduced under the name “Nusuk AI” to provide personalized guidance and real-time support.

As part of the Kingdom’s ongoing commitment to heritage preservation, 71 historical sites in Makkah and Madinah have been renovated, attracting over 3 million visitors. The three-day conference includes more than 143 sessions and workshops, aimed at strengthening global cooperation and fostering innovation in pilgrimage management.

Crown Prince Saud reaffirmed that the success of this year’s Hajj reflects the unified efforts of Saudi institutions and international partners, adding that the outcomes of the conference will further enhance coordination and global partnership in serving pilgrims from around the world.
