The program commenced with a minute of silence, dedicated to the memory of the martyrs of the July Uprising. This solemn moment was followed by the screening of a documentary produced by the government specifically for the occasion, likely highlighting the events and impact of the uprising. The embassy premises were adorned with powerful graffiti and photographs related to the revolution, visually underscoring the pivotal role played by the youth in shaping Bangladesh's new political trajectory.

A discussion marking the significance of the day was participated in by prominent Bangladeshi expatriates and community leaders in Italy. Speakers at the event reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to building a non-discriminatory, developed, and prosperous Bangladesh. They also lauded the interim government's concerted efforts to protect the rights and welfare of migrant workers, a crucial segment of the Bangladeshi diaspora.

Ambassador Rokebul Haque paid deep homage to all those who sacrificed their lives in the July Uprising and extended wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured. He expressed profound gratitude to the Bangladeshi expatriates in Italy for their continued and significant contribution to the country's socio-economic development through remittances sent via legal channels. The Ambassador particularly acknowledged the substantial role played by expatriates in the July Mass Uprising itself, demonstrating solidarity and support from abroad.

Furthermore, Ambassador Haque outlined various migrant-friendly initiatives undertaken by the interim government over the past year. He affirmed that new programs have been adopted to ensure a secure and improved quality of life for migrant workers both during their tenure abroad and upon their return to Bangladesh.
