Los Angeles, July 6 (V7N) — Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne has recently ventured into an unusual collaboration, involving iced tea and his own DNA rather than music.
Ahead of his final performance scheduled for Saturday, July 5, Osbourne partnered with the beverage brand Liquid Death as a celebrity ambassador. As part of this unique promotion, Ozzy consumed 10 cans of Liquid Death Iced Tea and left traces of his DNA on the cans.
Liquid Death has then released a limited series of "Infinitely Recyclable Ozzy cans," each autographed by the rock star and sealed in a lab-quality container. These cans are available for purchase on Liquid Death’s website at $450 each, sold on a first-come, first-served basis until stocks last.
The company suggested, possibly with a humorous tone, that “once technology and federal law allow, fans could use the DNA on these cans to clone Ozzy in the future and enjoy his presence for hundreds of years to come.”
Accompanying the announcement on June 17, Osbourne issued a statement saying, “Clone me, you bastards.”
This innovative campaign merges celebrity culture, environmental sustainability through recyclable packaging, and futuristic science fiction ideas, capturing both Osbourne’s irreverent persona and his enduring connection with fans.
