DHAKA, MAR 29 (V7N) - The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has issued a forecast for rain across various parts of the country in the next 24 hours, starting at 9:00 AM today.
According to a Met office bulletin, rain or thundershowers are expected to occur in several regions, accompanied by temporary gusty winds and lightning flashes. The affected areas include the Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions.
Additionally, day and night temperatures across the country are likely to rise slightly in the coming hours.
The highest temperature on Saturday was recorded at 33.8°C in Bandarban.
The minimum temperature recorded this morning was 16.5°C in Sylhet.
In Dhaka, the sun is expected to set at 6:13 PM today and rise at 5:53 AM tomorrow.
Residents are advised to remain cautious of the forecasted thunderstorms and the possibility of gusty winds.
