COX'S BAZAR, June 27, 2025 (V7N) – Air Vice Marshal Rushad Din Asad, Assistant Chief of the Bangladesh Air Force (BAF), today presided over the closing ceremony of the No. 11 Squadron Commanders' Course (SCC) at the Bangladesh Air Force Command and Staff Training Institute (CSTI) at BAF Base Cox's Bazar. During the ceremony, he distributed certificates to the graduating officers.

According to an Inter Service Public Relation (ISPR) release, Air Vice Marshal Asad, serving as the chief guest, emphasized the critical importance of command and leadership traits and skills for the officers as they embark on future assignments. He also commended the institute for its successful execution of the course.

Upon his arrival, Air Vice Marshal Asad was received by Air Vice Marshal A F M Shamimul Islam, Air Officer Commanding of BAF Base Cox's Bazar, and Group Captain Abu Saleh Mahmud Mannafi, Officer Commanding of CSTI.

The Officer Commanding of CSTI delivered an opening address, providing a concise overview of the No. 11 SCC's training and academic curriculums. The course is specifically designed to provide essential management and leadership training to prospective Squadron Commanders within the BAF.

Since its establishment in 2009, CSTI has been dedicated to preparing future leaders of the Bangladesh Armed Forces, enabling them to serve the nation with dignity and honor.

Following his address, the chief guest personally handed out certificates to all graduating officers and participated in a photography session with them. Senior BAF officers and other guests were also in attendance at the closing ceremony.
