Mongla, Nov 16 (V7N) – Md. Zulfiqar Ali, a nomination aspirant for the Mongla–Rampal–Fakirhat parliamentary constituency, continued his intensive campaign on Sunday, engaging with residents across several key areas. Beginning in the afternoon, he launched his outreach drive in the Digraj Bazar area of Mongla, where he interacted with people from different professions and distributed leaflets outlining his 31-point plan.

Zulfiqar Ali, accompanied by local BNP leaders and activists, also campaigned to build public support for the BNP’s election symbol, the sheaf of paddy. He stated that the response from the public has been overwhelmingly positive. Expressing confidence, he said that if the party grants him the nomination, he intends to dedicate a victory in this constituency to BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.

The campaign team included Upazila BNP President Abdul Mannan Hawlader, BNP leader Abdul Razzak, and several other activists who participated in the leaflet distribution and public engagement efforts. Residents of the Digraj Bazar and nearby industrial zones were seen interacting with the candidate and discussing local issues during the outreach.

According to party sources, Zulfiqar Ali plans to continue extensive campaigning across the constituency in the coming days to strengthen grassroots-level support and highlight BNP’s priorities ahead of the national election.
