Tehran, June 26 (V7N) – Iran has confirmed it is taking necessary steps to continue its nuclear program despite recent attacks by Israel and the United States. Mohammad Eslami, head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization (AEOI), told the semi-official Mehr News Agency that an assessment of the damage caused to Iran’s nuclear facilities is underway, and measures are being implemented to restore normal operations promptly.

Eslami emphasized that the government’s primary focus is to ensure no disruption occurs in the production and service processes related to the nuclear program. “We have planned extensively to avoid any interruption in our nuclear activities,” he said.

The announcement comes amid heightened tensions in the Middle East, particularly after Israel accused Iran of violating a ceasefire agreement by launching ballistic missile attacks against Israeli targets. These allegations mark an escalation in hostilities between the two countries, which have a long history of conflict surrounding Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

Despite ongoing military pressures, Iran’s leadership remains determined to maintain progress in its nuclear endeavors. The country insists its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes, although Western nations have frequently expressed concerns over the potential development of nuclear weapons.

International observers are closely monitoring the situation as renewed confrontations threaten regional stability. Iran’s confirmation of swift recovery plans for its nuclear facilities signals its resilience and willingness to confront external pressures.

The situation also complicates diplomatic efforts aimed at reviving the 2015 Iran nuclear deal (JCPOA), which had sought to limit Iran’s nuclear activities in exchange for sanctions relief. With recent attacks and counter-accusations, prospects for renewed negotiations remain uncertain.
