Tehran, June 24 (V7N) – Iran has never harmed anyone and will never yield to aggression under any circumstances, said the country’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in a firm statement reflecting Iran's national stance on sovereignty and resistance.

Posting on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Ayatollah Khamenei asserted, "Iran has not harmed anyone, and under no condition will it tolerate aggression." He emphasized that the Iranian nation is firmly rooted in a logic of resilience, not submission.

Khamenei's remarks come at a time of heightened geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, with Iran increasingly under scrutiny for its regional role and defense policies. Despite international pressure and a long history of sanctions from Western powers, particularly the United States, Iran has consistently maintained that its military and foreign policies are defensive in nature.

"Yielding to aggression is not part of our national character. The Iranian nation stands firm in the face of threats," Khamenei said, reiterating a long-standing narrative that frames Iran as both defiant and principled in its foreign relations.

Observers view his statement as a reaffirmation of Iran’s broader strategic doctrine: resistance against foreign intervention and steadfast defense of national sovereignty. Over the years, Iranian leadership has positioned itself as a bulwark against what it describes as imperialist influence in the region.

International analysts suggest that such declarations are not only intended for foreign audiences but also serve to bolster internal unity by appealing to national pride and historic resistance against foreign domination.

The statement, broadcast widely on Iranian media and echoed across government-aligned platforms, underscores Tehran’s message to the global community: Iran may seek peace, but it will not compromise on its independence or dignity.
