Washington, June 25 (V7N) – US President Donald Trump claimed that Russian President Vladimir Putin called him to ask if he needed assistance regarding the Iran-Israel conflict. Trump did not specify when or under what circumstances the conversation took place, according to a CNN report on Wednesday.

Trump said, “Putin called me and said, ‘Donald! What’s going on with the Iran-Israel issue? Do you need help?’” He also highlighted the good relationship he shared with Putin during his presidency.

There has been no official response from the Russian government confirming the call. Political analysts suggest that Trump’s statement may be part of his 2024 election campaign strategy to portray himself as a strong leader in international affairs.
