Tehran, June 19 (V7N) — The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have claimed responsibility for destroying the Tehran Metropolitan Police Headquarters in their latest wave of attacks on Iran, as part of Israel’s ongoing military campaign. The claim was confirmed by Reuters on Wednesday (June 18).

In addition to the police headquarters, Israel launched a missile strike on the headquarters of the Iranian Red Crescent Society in Tehran. Reports indicated that the strike caused significant damage, including fires within the building of the humanitarian organization.

Simultaneously, Israel intensified its bombardment on Iran’s critical infrastructure. Missile strikes targeted nuclear-related facilities in Isfahan, Shiraz, and Kermanshah, with explosions also reported in Karaj and near its airport.

According to Israeli military sources, the IDF attacked 60 targets across Iran within a single day, including centrifuge plants and anti-tank missile production facilities. These developments mark one of the most aggressive Israeli offensives on Iranian soil in recent history.

Meanwhile, Iran has continued its retaliatory strikes on Israeli territory. Air raid sirens were heard throughout the night across multiple Israeli cities, including in occupied Jerusalem, as Iranian missiles struck various locations.

The escalating conflict has raised serious concerns about broader regional instability and the potential involvement of global powers in what is fast becoming a dangerously expanding war.
