Madrid, July 4 (V7N) — The 2025-26 season schedule of the Spanish La Liga has been officially released, with football fans worldwide eagerly marking their calendars for the two highly anticipated El Clasico clashes between Barcelona and Real Madrid.

The season kicks off on August 17, 2025. Both Real Madrid and Barcelona will be in action on opening day — Barcelona will travel to face Mallorca, while Real Madrid will host Osasuna at the Santiago Bernabéu. Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid will begin their campaign at home against Espanyol.

La Liga has confirmed the dates for the two El Clasico fixtures:

  • The first Clasico will take place on October 26, 2025, at Santiago Bernabéu.

  • The second Clasico is scheduled for May 10, 2026, at Camp Nou, Barcelona’s iconic home ground.

The final matchday of the league season will be May 24, 2026.
