Dhaka, Dec 18 (V7N)- Inqilab Manch spokesperson Osman Hadi has passed away while undergoing treatment. Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un. He died at Dhaka General Hospital on Thursday (December 18).

The information was confirmed through posts on Osman Hadi’s verified Facebook account as well as the official Facebook page of Inqilab Manch.

Osman Hadi was critically injured after being shot from a moving motorcycle on December 12 while he was in the Bijoynagar area of the capital to attend a public meeting. The bullet struck him in the head, leaving him in a life-threatening condition.

Following the incident, he was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was later transferred to Evercare Hospital in Dhaka. Subsequently, he was taken to Singapore by air ambulance for advanced medical treatment.

Despite extensive medical efforts at home and abroad, Osman Hadi ultimately succumbed to his injuries.

His death has sparked grief and outrage among political activists and supporters, who have demanded a thorough investigation and justice for the attack.
