Natore, Aug 01 (V7N) – BNP Central Executive Committee member Advocate Ruhul Quddus Talukder Dulu has alleged that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina poses a threat to the sovereignty of Bangladesh if she returns to power with India's backing. He claimed that Hasina reportedly said, “I will never be able to repay what I have given to India as Prime Minister,” suggesting deeper foreign influence.
Speaking at a memorial event organized by the local BNP at Mominpur College Ground, Naldanga, Dulu also accused the government of manipulating elections for 15 years by sidelining women voters, and pointed to a “new conspiracy” involving virtual telephone telegrams.
The event was held to pray for the souls of those martyred in the July-August uprising and for the recovery of injured protesters. Local leaders including District BNP Convener Rahim Newaz, Zillur Rahman Babul Chowdhury, Shahidul Islam Bachchu, and others were present.
