Dhaka, Dec 18 (V7N) – President Md. Shahabuddin Chuppu received a courtesy call from Chief Justice Dr. Syed Refaat Ahmed at Bangabhaban on Thursday afternoon.

During the meeting, the President praised the Chief Justice for his initiatives aimed at the institutionalization of the judiciary and their successful implementation. He added that the path shown by the Chief Justice in promoting good governance and ensuring justice will serve as a guiding example for the country in the future.

Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed is set to retire as the 25th Chief Justice of Bangladesh on December 27.
