Dhaka, Dec 16 (V7N) — Home Affairs Adviser Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury paid tribute to the martyrs at the Police Memorial on the occasion of the Great Victory Day on Tuesday morning.

He laid a wreath at the Police Memorial at Rajarbagh Police Lines in the capital to honor the brave members of the police force who sacrificed their lives during the Liberation War and in the line of duty.

At the time, a smartly turned-out contingent of Bangladesh Police rendered a guard of honor. Later, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Baharul Alam also paid tribute by placing a wreath at the memorial.

Following this, various units of the Bangladesh Police paid homage to the martyrs by laying wreaths at the Police Memorial.
