Dhaka, Sep 21 (V7N) – Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration Md. Mokhles Ur Rahman, who had been serving on a contractual basis, has been transferred as Member (Senior Secretary) of the Planning Commission.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification regarding the transfer today (Sunday).

In a separate notification, Md. Ruhul Amin, Member Secretary of the Planning Commission, has been made an Officer on Special Duty (OSD). However, no replacement for the post of Public Administration Secretary has yet been announced.

Dr. Mokhles Ur Rahman, a BCS Administration cadre officer of the 1982 batch, was appointed to the Ministry of Public Administration on a two-year contractual basis on August 28 last year, replacing the then Senior Secretary Mohammad Mezbah Uddin Chowdhury.
