Barguna, Sept 21 (V7N) — The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) in Barguna has announced a partial district committee, restoring political leadership to its local activists after nearly three years.

The announcement was made on Sunday afternoon through a party letter signed by BNP Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.

Former district president Md. Nazrul Islam Molla has been appointed as the committee’s convener, while former organizational secretary Humayun Hasan Shaheen was named member-secretary. Fazlul Haque Master has been designated as joint convener. The three-member partial committee was officially declared on Sunday.

Following the announcement, BNP leaders and activists in Barguna celebrated with processions and distribution of sweets, warmly welcoming the newly appointed leadership. The restoration of local leadership has been widely welcomed by party supporters, marking a new phase of organizational activity in the district.
